Baby Race stars in Lonato WSK Open Cup

It was a very positive weekend for Baby Race in Lonato's WSK Open Cup event. It started in the best possible way with poles for Ean Eychmans in the 60 Mini class and Lorenzo Ferrari in OK.

Eychmans and Coskun Irfan were absolute stars of PreFinal B by ending 1-2, but due to a procedural error in the starting lineup, the young English driver was penalized by 10" and could not access the Final. At the end of a hard-fought race, Eychmans scored a valuable fourth place in the Final. Despite showing good potential, Rafael Modonese was forced to retire, while Paul Bocuse and Gianluca Costantini could not get past the PreFinal. Francesco Lorandi and Dion Gowda stopped at the heats.

In OKJ, after an excellent qualifying that saw him finish third, Tymoteusz Kucharczyk, was the first of the excluded drivers in PreFinal A. Andrei Dubynin, Michael Charl Visser and Paolo Ferrari did not access the Final too while Ksenia Phoenix did not start.

The OK category proposed an excellent Alexey Brizhan, fifth in the Final while Lorenzo Ferrari crossed the line in tenth position. Franco Colapinto also took part in the final, but had to retire.
