Around 400 drivers expected at the third round of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato

Anticipation is building at South Garda Karting for the third round of the WSK Super Master Series, scheduled for February 19-23. With approximately 400 drivers expected across all categories, from MINI to the highly competitive OKNJ, OKJ, OK, and KZ2, this event promises to be another thrilling showdown. All major manufacturers and top teams, along with the world's leading drivers, will be present.

The previous round in Sarno saw significant shifts in the championship standings, with the increased point allocation after the first round at La Conca and the introduction of new contenders. The Lonato round is therefore shaping up to be a crucial turning point in the championship battle.

MINI Gr.3 – Lazaro takes the lead
The Portuguese driver Xavier Lazaro (#570 DR/DR-TM Kart-Vega), who won in Sarno, has taken the lead in the MINI Gr.3 championship. He has surpassed Italian driver Niccolò Perico (Team Driver/KR-Iame), the winner of the first round at La Conca, who slipped to tenth position in Sarno due to some unfortunate circumstances. Another Italian driver, Alessandro Nanni (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), has consolidated his position in third place, but the championship remains wide open with many drivers capable of challenging for the top spot.

MINI Gr.3 championship standings:
1st Lazaro Xavier (PRT) points 139
2nd Perico Niccolò (ITA) points 116
3rd Nanni Alessandro (ITA) points 92

MINI Gr.3 U10 – Bergman keeps the championship lead
The American driver Josh Bergman (#563 Kidix/KR-Iame-Vega) has consolidated his lead in the MINI Gr.3 U10 championship. Following his victory in Sarno, which mirrored his success at La Conca, Bergman has extended his points advantage over Cypriot driver Andreas Papageorgiu (Monster K Factory/Monster K-TM kart) and his teammate, the American Wyinn Godschalk. Another Kidix driver, Robin Raikkonen, the son of Formula 1 champion Kimi Raikkonen, has also shown strong competitiveness in Sarno, despite some unfortunate results.

MINI U10 championship standings:
1st Bergman Josh (USA) points 168
2nd Papageorgiu Andreas (CYP) points 95
3rd Godschalk Wynn (USA) points 84

OKNJ – Palacio maintains the championship lead
In the OK-N Junior category, the American driver Lucas Palacio (#711 KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) continues to lead the championship after his victory at La Conca and a fourth-place finish in Sarno. However, the Italian driver Michele Orlando (DR/Modena Engines) has made significant progress, winning the race in Sarno by a mere thousandth of a second over the Ukrainian driver Vsevlod Osadcyi-Suslovsky (Monster K Factory/Monster K-TM Kart).

OK-NJ championship standings:
1st Palacio Lucas (USA) points 127
2nd Osadchyi-Suslovskyi Vsevlod (UKR) points 101
3rd Orlando Michele (ITA) points 94

OKJ – Hoogendoorn takes the championship lead
In the highly competitive OKJ category, the Dutch driver Dean Hoogendoorn (#302 Prema Racing/KR-Iame-Vega) has taken over the championship lead following his victory in Sarno. He surpassed the American driver Michael McGaughy (Koski Motorsport/KR-Iame), who won at La Conca but finished ninth in Sarno, and his teammate, the British driver Noah Baglin, who has consistently shown strong performance.

OKJ championship standings:
1st Hoogendoorn Dean (NLD) points 157

OK - Van Langendonck takes the lead
In the OK category, the Belgian driver Dries Van Langendonck (#201 Prema Racing/KR-Iame-LeCont) has moved into the championship lead thanks to a strong second-place finish in Sarno. The Italian driver Filippo Sala (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart) claimed victory in the previous round, taking advantage of a close battle between Van Langendonck and the Scottish driver Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame), the winner of the first round at La Conca.

OK championship standings:
1st Van Langendonck (BEL) points 150
2nd Costoya Christian (ESP) points 129
3rd Sala Filippo (ITA) points 104

KZ2 – Bertuca Makes His Debut and Takes the Lead
The Italian driver Cristian Bertuca (#125 BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Kart-Vega) has made a strong start to his championship campaign, immediately taking the lead in the KZ2 category with his victory in Sarno. The previous round winner and former championship leader, the Dutch driver Stan Pex (SP Motorsport/KR-TM Kart), finished only tenth in Sarno due to a penalty. The category has become even more competitive with the introduction of several new drivers, including Bertuca's teammate, the Romanian driver Daniel Vasile (CL Racing/BirelART-TM Kart).
