A great appointment for the WSK Super Master Series with the fourth round in Franciacorta

The Franciacorta Karting Track is about to host the fourth and penultimate round of the WSK Super Master Series, a crucial event for the championship and for the second consecutive time in its history with over 400 entered drivers. An extraordinary result for the organization of WSK Promotion which, since its launch in 2006, further embellishes the milestone of 20 years of activity. The Franciacorta event will also feature the awarding of the new WSK Pole Position Trophy, providing drivers with another opportunity to excel in qualifying.

Franciacorta and Viterbo the two concluding events.

The Franciacorta event on March 5-9, and the next one in rapid succession on the renewed Viterbo circuit on March 13-16, will conclude this edition of the WSK Super Master Series, and thanks to the increased score of these last two events compared to the first three rounds of La Conca, Sarno and Lonato, nothing is yet decided for the championship standings which remain open in every category.

KZ2 - Great fight at the top.

In KZ2, which presents the highest number of entries of this start of the season with 90 drivers, the fight becomes really "red-hot" with the arrival of other protagonists ready to enter the fight at the top between the new leader, the Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn (CPB Sport/Sodikart-TM Kart-Vega), already winner of the 2022 edition, and the champion of the last two editions 2023 and 2024, the Italian Cristian Bertuca (BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Kart).

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Stan Pex (La Conca), Cristian Bertuca (Sarno), Senna Van Walstijn (Lonato).

KZ2 Championship standings:
1st Van Walstijn Senna (NLD) points 192
2nd Bertuca Cristian (ITA) points 177
3rd Nomblot Jean (FRA) points 129
4th Orlov Max points 114
5th Pex Stan (NLD) points 111

OK – Van Langendonck leads the classification.

In the OK category, the duel at the top is as exciting as ever, where the standings are led by the Belgian Dries Van Langendonck (Prema Racing/KR-Iame-LeCont), winner of last year's WSK Final Cup. Chasing the Belgian driver are the Spaniard Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart) and the Scottish Zac Drummond (Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame), but among the approximately 80 entered drivers, many are ready to fight for the victory, such as the Italian Iacopo Martinese (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame), an unfortunate protagonist in the last round in Lonato.

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Zac Drummond (La Conca and Lonato), Filippo Sala (Sarno).

OK Championship standings:
1st Van Langendonck Dries (BEL) points 240
2nd Costoya Christian (ESP) points 172
3rd Drummond Zac (GBR) points 171
4th Martinese Iacopo (ITA) points 125
5th Pavan Sebastiano (ITA) points 113

OKJ – Hoogendoorn is the main protagonist.

Dean Hoogendoorn (Prema Racing/KR-Iame-Vega) is the main protagonist in OKJ, but the category is quite lively and the result is by no means a foregone conclusion among the 85 entered drivers of Franciacorta. To challenge the Dutch driver at the top of the standings with two consecutive successes in the last two rounds, there are above all his teammate, the Englishman Noah Baglin, and the Canadian Ilie Crisan Tristan (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex).

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Michael McGaughy (La Conca), Dean Hoogendoorn (Sarno and Lonato).

OKJ Championship standings:
1st Hoogendoorn Dean (NLD) points 278
2nd Baglin Noah (GBR) points 183
3rd Crisan Ilie Tristan (CND) points 177
4th Walz Devin (USA) points 95
5th McGaughy Michael (USA) points 86

OKNJ – Three drivers to the fore.

The OK-NJ category is quite lively, with three different winners in the first three rounds of the national category launched in 2023, which has grown exponentially, in Franciacorta with 56 entered drivers. In the standings, the American Lucas Palacio (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) continues to lead, but the other American Nicola Stanley (MP Academy Gamoto/Henza Kart-TM Kart) has launched himself into the fight at the top, while the Italian Michele Orlando (DR/DR-Modena Engines), winner of the WSK Final Cup 2024, is also confirmed among the best.

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Luca Palacio (La Conca), Michele Orlando (Sarno), Nicola Stanley (Lonato).

OKNJ Championship standings:
1st Palacio Lucas (USA) points 189
2nd Stanley Nicola (USA) points 151
3rd Orlando Michele (ITA) points 143
4th Osadcyi-Suslovsky Vsevlod (UKR) points 116
5th Simone Rocco (CAN) points 105.

MINI GR.3 – Lazaro and Perico, what a duel!

The battles in the smallest categories in action in the WSK Super Master Series continue to amaze. Also in Franciacorta about 110 drivers are present between MINI Gr.3 and MINI U10. In MINI Gr.3, two names prevail above all: the Portuguese Xavier Lazaro (DR/DR-TM Kart-Vega) and the Italian Niccolò Perico (Team Driver/KR-Iame). Here the standings are sub-judice due to an appeal by Perico at the end of the Prefinal of the last round in Lonato, but in the meantime, the standings confirm the exciting duel between the two, where the inclusion of other protagonists is by no means excluded.

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Niccolò Perico (La Conca and Lonato sub-judice), Xavier Lazaro (Sarno).

Gr.3 Championship standings (Sub-Judice):
1st Lazaro Zavier (PRT) points 248
2nd Perico Niccolò (ITA) points 236
3rd Moscardi David (ITA) points 112
4th Nanni Alessandro (ITA) points 107
5th Robertson Mason (GBR) points 98

MINI U10 – Bergman dominates.

In the youngest of the categories, from 8 to 10 years old, Josh Bergman (Kidix/KR-Iame-Vega) has so far accomplished the feat of winning all three finals of the first three rounds. But the rivals of the young American driver are growing and ready to enter the fray to challenge the current dominator of the category, starting with his teammate, the Caribbean Wynn Godschalk, the Cypriot Andreas Papageorgiu (Monster K Factory/Monster K-TM Kart) and the Italian Daniel Pasquali (CRG Racing Team/T-Group-TM Kart).

The winners of the Finals of the first three rounds:
Josh Bergman (La Conca, Sarno, Lonato).

MINI U10 Championship standings:
1st Bergman Josh (USA) points 253
2nd Godschalk Wynn (CUW) points 153
3rd Papageorgiu Andreas (CYP) points 150
4th Pasquali Daniel (ITA) points 128
5th Algre Jan Ruudi (EST) points 100
