The quickest at the Leopard Circuit Viterbo were Frasnelli (OKJ), Orlando (OK-NJ), Ratajski (MINI Gr3), Schniegenberg (MINI U10), Orlov (KZ2) and Burnett (OK).
The qualifying sessions at Leopard Circuit Viterbo have identified the initial protagonists of the fifth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series, in the race that on Sunday, March 16th will award all the championship titles in this highly anticipated event organized by WSK Promotion.
Discovering the circuit.
After the first 4 rounds in La Conca, Sarno, Lonato and Franciacorta, the WSK circus has re-proposed after many years the renewed Viterbo circuit as the concluding round of this exciting WSK Super Master Series. The participation has also been positive in this last round of the championship, with 212 drivers ready for the final challenge on the 1300 meters of the Viterbo track that many among other things are getting to know for the first time.
The Pole Position Trophies.
Meanwhile, the first battles of the qualifying sessions on Friday have decided the winners of the new Pole Position Trophies in each category, already much appreciated in the previous event. The qualifying sessions of the OKJ, OK-NJ, MINI Gr.3, MINI U10, KZ2 and OK categories took place in this order and surprises were not lacking.
OKJ – Frasnelli takes pole.
In OKJ the first surprise came from the pole position of Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega). The Italian driver, at his first experience in OKJ, immediately stood out with the best time in 53.640s in Session-2. He was the fastest overall since the best of Session-1 was set by the Englishman Henry Domain (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart) in 54.105s ahead of the excellent pair of American brothers Walz, divided by 25 thousandths, Drew at 0.374s and Devin at 0.399s, both with KR Motorsport on KR-Iame. In Session-2 the second best time was set by the Australian William Calleja (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart) at 0.069s shy of Frasnelli, the third time of the Belgian Henri Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex) at 0.103s. Terrible news sadly for the classification leader, the Dutchman Dean Hoogendoorn (Prema Racing/KR-Iame), who could not set any time.

OK-NJ – Orlando is on pole, while classification leader Palacio is third fastest.
All the main protagonists of the category are close together. The best time was set by the second in the championship, the Italian Michele Orlando (DR/DR-Modena Engines) in 53.702, followed by the Frenchman Many Nuvolini (Prema Racing/KR-Iame) at 0.074s. The American classification leader Lucas Palacio (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) followed at 0.086s, while the fourth fastest time went to the other Italian Gioele Girardello (Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart) at 0.292s. The American Nicola Stanley (MP Academy Gamoto/Henza Kart-TM Kart) had a good session ending fifth fastest at 0.351s.

MINI Gr.3 – Ratajski is the fastest, while Lazaro and Perico are lagging behind.
The Frenchman Stan Ratajski (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) posted a great time in Session-2 (59.152s) and proceeded his teammate Davide Di Filippo by 0.552s. In Session-1 the fastest was Antonio Ianni Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart) in 59.758s, ahead of Achille Rea (BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Kart) at 0.022s. The two main protagonists of the championship were incredibly behind in Session-2: the classification leader Xavier Lazaro (DR/DR-TM Kart) was ninth in 1:00.034s and Niccolò Perico (Team Driver/KR-Iame) was tenth in 1:00.49s.

In the only session of the MINI U10, the pole position went to the American Colton Schniegenberg (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart) in 1:00.059s, who led the Frenchman Nahyl El Gahoudi (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) by 0.226s and the classification leader, the American Josh Bergman (Kidix/KR-Iame) by 0.276s. The main antagonist of the American driver, the Italian Daniel Pasquali (CRG Racing Team/T-Group-TM Kart) claimed the 14th time at 1.409s.

KZ2 – Orlov attacks Van Walstijn.
In KZ2, Max Orlov (CPB Sport/Sodikart-TM Kart), who is second in the championship, immediately launched an attack by setting pole position in 51.209s, while the classification leader and teammate, the Dutchman Senna Van Walstijn, had to settle for ninth at 0.517s. Among the best also the other CPB Sport driver, the Frenchman Matteo Spirgel, at 0.138s from Orlov.
The third fastest time was set by the Romanian Daniel Vasile (CL Racing Team/BirelART-TM Kart) at 0.193s, while Cristian Bertuca (BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Kart) was fourth fastest at 0.230s.

OK - Burnett ties with Kuklane, but Burnett gets pole due to second best time.
Incredible finale in OK between the Canadian Jensen Burnett (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart-Le Cont) and the Estonian Roland Kuklane (Liqui-Moli Roli/KR-TM kart), both with the best time in 51.883s in Session-2. In this case, the second best time prevails, and therefore pole went to Burnett. Third fastest time for Filippo Sala (Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart) at 0.095s. In Session-1 the Spaniard Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart) was the fastest in 51.900s, leading the Czech Jindrich Pesl (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex) by 0.034s and the classification leader, the Belgian Dries Van Langendonck (Prema Racing/KR-Iame), by 0.064s.
