Sodikart - Official chassis supplier for four categories of the 2022 Rotax Grand Final

The 22nd edition of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals will take place this year in Portugal, at the Kartodrómo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão from 19th to 26th November, with 394 drivers from more than 60 countries. Since 2010, Sodi has been a loyal partner of the Rotax World Finals as a chassis supplier. For its 12th year of close collaboration with BRP-Rotax in the framework of the RMCGF, Sodikart will supply the Senior Max and Junior Max chassis, in addition to the E20 Junior and E20 Senior, i.e. for the first time, four categories using Sodi.

The Sodikart factory is used to the challenge of preparing 72 Junior MAX and 72 Senior MAX chassis, based on the famous 2022 Sigma RS3. In addition to the Project E20 Senior chassis, in 2022 the Project E20 Junior chassis will be added, with the Rotax electric karts based on the Sodi Sigma DD2 chassis. In total, Sodikart has produced, assembled and shipped to Portugal more than 180 complete karts to meet the needs of four categories of the 2022 RMCGF.

A word from Sodikart's Managing Director, Bertrand Pignolet:

"After the success of the 2021 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain, we are pleased to continue our long-standing collaboration with BRP-Rotax on the European continent. Portugal is a popular RMCGF event and we have all the necessary benchmarks to succeed in our 12th consecutive Rotax Grand Final performance. We are delighted with the growing success of the Rotax Max Challenge's flagship event of the season, which will bring together nearly 400 drivers from 61 countries across five continents. This is an excellent opportunity to show a wide range of drivers the quality of our Sodi chassis, which are successful throughout the year at the highest level of international competition. The mastery of logistics and related services that characterises our activity as a whole is a factor that is highly appreciated by all."

Year after year, Sodikart demonstrates the organisational capacity to plan the production of more than 180 chassis requiring several tonnes of technical steel, including 500 metres of tubing and 250 metres of weld seam. The French brand's logistics ensure that the karts and spare parts are dispatched on time.

In Portimão, the Sodikart team is made up of around ten people to ensure the availability of the karts, to advise the drivers and their mechanics and to provide them with all the necessary parts if necessary. Members of the Sodi Racing Team, Senna van Walstijn and Emilien Denner are also present to represent Sodikart to the competitors.
