The third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship will take place in Sarno next July 5th – 7th. Maranello Kart will be present with several drivers in KZ2, KZN Under, KZN Over, X30 Junior and X30 Senior. Maranello Kart and its drivers are gearing up to get on track at the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno for the third round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship.
Francesco Iacovacci on Maranello-Tm run by Maranello Kart’s official team SG Race will be the top driver in KZ2. He is second in the championship at 66 points and is resolute to get some ground back after the first two rounds in Castelletto di Branduzzo, where the Italian got twice on the podium, and in Siena, where he claimed two good placings. For Iacovacci it is going to be paramount to get a good result in Sarno in the race that marks the turning point of the season before the sprint to the end in the two closing races in Adria on July 28th and Val Vibrata on September 1st. Also on track for Maranello Kart in KZ2, Gabrio Bizzozero has been displaying a good shape and a crescendo of performance since the second round held in Siena, after the debut in the Italian Championship.
Maranello Kart and SG Race will also field Michael Dalle Stelle in KZN Under and Cristian Griggio in KZN Over. The latter got on the podium in Siena’s Race-2. Other drivers to defend the team’s colors in Sarno are Alessio Migliucci in X30 Junior and Mario Martucci in X30 Senior. Several other Maranello Kart’s drivers will compete for team Quaranta Racing Motor (the reseller for region Puglia), Sambataro Racing (Sicily), Oracle and Kart Evolution (Tuscany), Monti Racing Team (Marche and Abruzzo).
The program: qualifying practice on Friday, July 5th, qualifying heats on Saturday, July 6th, double Final with live coverage on AutoMotoTV and web streaming on Sunday, July 7th.
