24 Hours Karting of Italy: the entry list becomes increasingly international

Registration of the teams coming from all over the world for the 24 Hours Karting of Italy, the reference Rental kart event among international endurance races, scheduled for next March 1-2 on the Cremona track, is proceeding at a high pace. Around 30 teams representing 15 different countries (including China, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania, France and Belgium) have already officially registered and in the next 2 weeks ,the CRG organization intends to close registration by assigning the last 12 available places.

All teams interested in taking part in this prestigious event, now in its 8th edition, are therefore invited to register and if necessary for the latest information, to contact the CRG Secretariat (phone +39.030.9912604 – Mail: marketing@kartcrg.com).

We would like to remind you that the registration procedure, has to be done via the online form on the CRG website (www.kartcrg.com) by entering the 24 Hours Karting section, where the information bulletin of the event and the full Regulations are also available. Teams made up of a minimum of 4 up to a maximum of 10 drivers will be able to take part in the race and you can choose between the PRO category, reserved for the most experienced teams, or the SILVER one, for amateur teams (35 years old is the minimum age for the silver drivers).

Please find below the most relevant information.

KART: The CRG organization will make available to the teams a fleet of 45 Centurion Karts equipped with new Honda 390cc engines. The karts are equipped with a fast pedal and seat adjustment system and the weight will be equated with the ballast system, which each driver will have to place on the kart during pit stops based on his/her weight. The karts will be assigned by drawing lots and the teams will have to keep them for the entire duration of the event. However, if technical problems or drops in performance should arise, each team will have 2 vouchers to replace the kart during the event.

REGULATION: The strategies will be very free and the teams will only have to respect the minimum number of driver changes imposed: 30 for the PRO teams and 35 for the SILVER ones. Fuel will last approximately 2 hours and each driver will not be able to drive for more than 7 hours during the event (time calculated by adding all the individual driving stints).

COMMUNICATION: Like past editions, the 24 Hours Karting of Italy will be broadcast live with a streaming production on the CRG YouTube channel and on the event and the CRG Facebook pages. The video production will include 4 blocks for over 15 hours of live broadcast and will include a TV studio for comments and interviews with the protagonists. Considering the number of international teams and the many shares that each squad guarantees, the visibility of this event reaches over 20 countries around the world and over 15,000 contacts in key moments such as the start and finish.

SERVICES: Each team will have access to a covered garage space in the pit lane area, a giant screen to follow the race and live Timing service.
