The 2025 edition of the prestigious 24-Hour Karting race, organized by CRG, changes location and moves to the Cremona Circuit, a modern and very beautiful facility with structures capable of guaranteeing maximum comfort for the teams. The event will take place on the weekend of March 1-2 and will open the season of International Rental Endurance meetings as usual.
The one scheduled on the Cremona track will be the 8th edition; this circuit replaces the Castelletto di Branduzzo one, where we have been racing for the last 3 years, after the first editions held in Adria. There will be 42 places available for this fascinating meeting capable of attracting Rental Kart enthusiasts from all over the world, from China to South America, for an international entry list with over 40 teams and 280 drivers.
The karts used in the race will be a brand new fleet of CRG Centurion with adjustable seat and pedals, equipped with a 390cc Honda engine and managed on the track by the CRG Rental division, which will take care of technical assistance and supplies for all teams attending the event.
Two categories have been confirmed: the Silver one for the more amateur crews and the Pro class, for the most competitive teams on the international scene. For the Silver teams the race strategy will include a minimum of 35 pit stops, while for the Pros only 30 driver changes will be necessary. The teams can be made up of a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 10 drivers and the minimum age will be 14 years old.
The full regulation is being approved and will be published by Monday, November 18, when registration will officially open. Generally speaking, there will be very few changes to the regulations compared to past editions, although we can tell you about something new: we will get back to the formula of the kart drawn and left to the teams for the entire event, but with two possibilities of being changed during the race In this way we want to mediate between the two most widespread formats in Rental events: the one that involves doing the entire race with the same vehicle and the quick change, used to mediate any differences in performance between the various karts. By allowing two changes throughout the event, the teams will be free to keep the kart drawn at the start of the event, making kart management one of the points to emerge, or they will be able to change up to a maximum of two times, if they believe they have some problem from a technical point of view. Regarding the karts used, it is worth saying that CRG will make a new fleet available to the teams and each kart will be tested beforehand to reach equivalent performance levels. The weight will be managed with the ballast system that the individual drivers will place on the kart before their driving stint.
The 24 Hours Karting organized by CRG has always stood out also for the services made available to the drivers, who will have brick-built pit structures for the night, a giant screen to follow the race, live timing and special agreements to have hotel rooms just a few minutes from the track or camper service inside the paddock. As in past editions, there will also be significant media coverage and a long live streaming with a TV studio at the circuit for interviews with the protagonists.
The entry fee is Euro 2,600.00 + VAT per team. For further information, you can visit the CRG website (www.kartcrg.com) and contact the Organizational Secretariat: marketing@kartcrg.com / +39.3316305745
