Munich. The German Kart Championship (DKM) is under starter’s orders for the 2024 season. The registration period for the top German karting series begins in mid-January. Six race weekends at the best-known kart tracks in Germany await the competitors. All information on the series can be found at adac.de/motorsport.
ADAC e.V., the new promoter of the German Kart Championship (DKM), announced the calendar for the coming year at the start of October. The venue for the opening round of the season has now also been confirmed. The first winners will be decided from 20th to 21st April at Arena E in Mülsen. The DKM will visit the municipality of Mülsen twice over the coming season, as it will Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf. Ampfing and Kerpen host the remaining two events.
New website with information for drivers and teams
In the future, interested drivers and teams will find all they need to know about the coming season at adac.de/motorsport. As well as regulations, dates, and general facts on the DKM, this is also the place to go to register online for the 2024 season. Registration opens on 15th January. To simplify the entry process, it is possible to submit a block entry for all races in the DKM. As well as the entry fee, the registration fee for each race weekend also includes track hire for Friday’s practice session, as well as the costs of catering and cleaning up at the racetrack.
Strong organisational team for the German Kart Championship
The DKM will again be supported by an experienced organisational team in 2024. As in previous years, Horst Seidel will be responsible as race director. Hans-Jürgen Dangers continues in his role as chair of the Technical Commission.
