World Karting Association Confirms 2021 Speedway Dirt Schedule

October 7, 2020 – With the start of the 2021 season less than three months away, the World Karting Association is excited to confirm the WKA Maxxis Tire Speedway Dirt Series Presented by Summit Racing. With five events across the eastern half of the country and an additional non points paying event at the famed Dirt Track at Charlotte, the series will take their first green flag of a new season during the prestigious WKA Kart Week in Daytona Beach, Florida.
 
“We are really excited about the 2021 dirt season,” explained WKA Chairman of the Board Mike Tetreault. “Our team has assembled a series schedule that rivals the best that we have ever had. The entry blank and pit request forms for our Daytona event will be available in the very near future. We are expecting very large turnouts for these events and can’t wait to kick off 2021.”

Daytona International Speedway - Florida
December 28th – 29th - (Rain Date - December 30th)

Iron City – South Carolina
March 13th – (Rain Date - March 14th)
 
Round #3
Paradise – South Carolina
May 15th – (Rain Date - May 16th)
 
Round #4
Triple T – North Carolina
June 12th – (Rain Date - June 13th)
 
Round #5
Charlotte 1/5th Mile – North Carolina
September 18th – (Rain Date - September 19th)
 
Tetreault added, “For our Daytona event, which is the only two day race on the calendar, points from both day one and two will be combined to determine the overall points to be calculated, however cash payouts will happen on both event days as well as for the rest of the single day events in 2021. General parking for Daytona will open November 2nd.”
 
WKA will also host a single event non points race at The Dirt Track at Charlotte
