Bas Kaligis / Wednesday, June 13, 2018 / Categories: International Wins and podiums for Baby Race In Sarno's Italian Championship round Baby Race brought home some serious silverware in the Italian Karting Championship round at Sarno. Victory came in the Senior Rok category with Alexey Brizhan, who established himself at the front with authority. Leonardo Lorandi, who made a one-off return to Baby Race, also competed in the same series providing good support for the Russian over the weekend. Paolo Ferrari scored third place in the Junior Rok final 1, while in the second final, a carburettor problem slowed him down while he was set to conquer the first place. Tymoteusz Kucharczyk, who scored second in qualifying but was then unlucky in the heats for some contacts and in the final for an engine trouble. Anyway the young driver impressed and will be a great prospect for the rest of the season. Ksenia Phoenix who continued to make top-quality experience, climbing her learning curve. In the Mini 60 class, a great performance came from newcomer Ean Eychmans, who was second in final 1 while Coskun Irfan took the third position in final 2. Giosuè Galbiati, who missed the first part of 2018 was quite fast while Rafael Modonese, constantly remained among the top positions.
