Trident Motorsport signs Santiago Ramos to 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship

Trident Motorsport is delighted to announce that Mexican racer Santiago Ramos will be competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship. Born in Guadalajara in 2004, Ramos will make his series debut. He was among the stars of the FRECA championship in 2023, securing a podium finish and a fastest lap, ending the season in 11th place. In 2022, he made his FRECA debut but didn’t score points. In 2019, he made his competitive debut in Italian F4, running in the following three seasons.

Ramos left a positive impression on the Trident Motorsport technical staff in postseason testing at Jerez de la Frontera, Barcelona, and Imola, as he gained great chemistry with the team straight away. Trident Motorsport welcomes him with great trust and satisfaction and will provide him with the best support to showcase his skills in one of the world’s most competitive championships.

Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager: “It is with extreme delight and confidence that we welcome a young prospect like Santiago Ramos to our line-up. We are looking forward to doing a great job with him, and we think we have all the necessary resources to allow him to improve and make his way through the motorsport ladder. We like to invest in rookie drivers, who have yet to express their full talent. I am convinced that, together with Santiago, we will achieve our goals as in the team's tradition."

Santiago Ramos, Driver: “So happy to announce that I’m joining Trident Motorsport for the FIA F3 championship! Working closely with them during post-season testing has been fantastic. I’m excited about this new chapter, ready to give it my all, and looking forward to making every race weekend a memorable experience. Huge thanks to Trident, EscuderĂa Telmex, and my sponsors for this opportunity!”.
