Tony Karts gains another podium in Germany
In the last round of the OK and OKJ European Championship, Tony Kart is third in the OKJ final with Harley Keeble and conquers the third podium of the general rating in both categories.
On the occasion of the last round of the OK and OKJ FIA Karting European Championship, the Tony Kart Racing Team is protagonist with an excellent performance. The weekend at the Pro Kart Raceland in Wackersdorf, Germany, is once again the proof of the top-quality work carried out during the season, which is awarded with the podium of Harley Keeble at the end of the OKJ final and the overall third position reached by Joseph Turney and Tukka Taponen, in OK and Junior respectively. Such results are the outcome of the great reliability and the ease of use of our Tony Kart Racer 401 R powered by Vortex, where they played a leading role.
The starting grid of the OKJ final, with 6 drivers of ours in the first eight positions, is the clearest proof of the excellent performance carried out by the Racing Team this weekend. For Harley Keeble, rookie this year in an OKJ class crowded with more expert drivers, the podium conquered in the decisive race is a further goal achieved after three victories and a best lap in the Qualifying Heats. Karol Pasiewicz centres three best laps in total, including one right in the final, ended in fifth position. Great result for Bruno Del Pino too, who enters the top ten, gaining the seventh position, and Aiden Neate, nineth and always in the top ten also in the Heats, where he gathers a second and three third places. Alfio Spina, author of two best laps, carries out an amazing comeback of 10 positions in final, ending tenth ahead of Maxim Rehm, who makes a great deal of progress this weekend, scoring 2 victories and a third position in the heats.
In OK, Joseph Turney centres the goal of the third position in the championship thanks to the constancy he shows throughout the whole weekend, ended with a top ten position in final. For the Englishman, the results gained in the heats, run in one day only, is a second, a third and two fourth places. Callum Bradshaw's debut in the team is also definitive positive. He immediately gets in tune with the OTK Kart Group package and manages to enter the top ten in all four Qualifying Heats.
The European Championship is now over, and the Tony Kart Racing Team is looking forward to taking part in the last two rounds of the WSK Euro Series in the KZ2, OK, OKJ and MINI classes, scheduled on the South Garda Karting in Lonato this weekend.
