The OK, OKJ and KZ2 drivers of the Tony Kart Racing Team are ready to take part in the 25th edition of the Winter Cup, scheduled from Friday 14thFebruary at the South Garda Karting in Lonato.
After the excellent start of the season at the Adria Karting Raceway in the WSK Super Master Series, the engagements of the 2020 calendar of the Tony Kart Racing Team continue. At South Garda Karting in Lonato (Italy) everything is ready for the 25th Winter Cup, the great classic of the international karting season. For the occasion, the OKJ and OK categories will be joined by the KZ2, where our Tony Kart Racer 401 R powered by Vortex is making its debut in 2020 in shifter configuration.
Precisely for the shifter class, our drivers will be once again Simo Puhakka and Alessio Piccini, wonderful protagonists, at the end of last year, of the Macau Grand Prix, closed on the first and third step of the podium. Together with them, the Frenchman Paul Evrard will make his debut with our colors.
The OK line-up has been confirmed, arriving in Lonato with the target of repeating the excellent performances of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series. Pedro Hiltbrand, successful in his first race of the year, Joseph Turney and Lorenzo Travisanutto will once again try to be among the protagonists. Diego Contecha will also be with them, taking advantage of this prestigious appointment to continue his apprenticeship in the category.
Concerning the OKJ, the Winter Cup will first mark Bruno Del Pino's debut among the ranks of the Tony Kart Racing Team. Next to him, the 5 drivers who dressed our racing suit since the beginning of the year: Karol Pasiewicz, protagonist of a top-level start to the season; Aiden Neate and Harley Keeble, who continue to make progress race after race; Maxim Rehm and Eron Rexhepi, who will hopefully be able to live a weekend in Lonato without unforeseen difficulties.
