Tony Kart closed the “Master Series” with a victory and three podiums

During the concluding round of the WSK Super Master Series, the VTM engine secures victory in the MINI Gr.3 final. The VTZ and VTS units achieve podium placements in the KZ2 and OK classes.


MINI – The VTM engines kicked off the MINI Gr.3 weekend with the second-best qualifying time, courtesy of Oliver Sini (Tony Kart Racing Team). Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart Racing Team) continued the momentum in the qualifying heats with two fastest laps, climbing 21 positions in the intermediate ranking. Leonardo Gorski shines on Saturday, finishing third in the morning pre-final and clinching victory in the afternoon final, gaining a total of 6 positions from the start. Sini also performs well, securing a spot among the top ten in the race.

In the MINI Gr.3 U10, VTM notches a victory, three podiums, and a fastest lap in the qualifying heats, thanks to the performances of Achille Rea (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Henri Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team). The duo claimed success and the fastest laps on the Saturday morning prefinals. In the final, Kumpen came close to reaching the podium, while Rea finished in the Top 10.
 

KZ2 – In the gearbox-equipped karts category, the VTZ took the lead early on with Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Genis Civico (Tony Kart Racing Team) securing second positions in groups 1 and 2 of the qualifying practices. The drivers, along with Marijn Kremers (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Francesco Celenta (Tony Kart Racing Team), accumulated two victories, five podiums, and a fastest lap in the qualifying heats, along with success and the fastest lap in the prefinals. In the final, Leuillet battled for second place throughout the 17 scheduled laps and ultimately secured the second position. Kremers, Celenta, and Civico made it to the Top 10, while Nicola Rossini (Tony Kart Racing Team) was further down in the rankings.

In the championship, Vortex boasted a total of 6 victories, 8 podiums, and 4 fastest laps in the qualifying heats; 1 victory, 1 podium, and 2 fastest laps in the prefinals; and finally, 1 victory and 1 podium in the finals.
 

OK – David Walther (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Tiziano Monza (Tony Kart Racing Team), equipped with the VTS engine, displayed impressive speed in qualifying, securing the second and third-best times, respectively. Vortex claimed a victory, four podiums, and two fast laps in the qualifying heats, finishing in third position in the prefinal. Walther was a key contender in the final, fighting for the lead and ultimately finishing in second place. Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart Racing Team) narrowly missed the podium, while Xiaoyu Sun (Tony Kart Racing Team), Xavier Avramides (Tony Kart Racing Team), and Monza all secured spots in the Top 10.

Vortex concluded the series with 5 victories, 9 podiums, and 3 fast laps in the qualifying heats; 1 victory and 3 podiums in the prefinals; and finally, 2 podiums in the finals.
 

OKJ – The VTJ engine impressed from the start in qualifying, securing the second-best time with Scott Kin Lindblom (Tony Kart Racing Team). Lindblom set the fastest lap during the qualifying heats, where teammate Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) claimed third place. In the final, Endo Arada (Ward Racing) achieved the best result for Vortex, finishing fifth after a remarkable comeback of 10 positions, leading Lindblom, Joel Pohjola (Tony Kart Racing Team), and Sebastian Lehtimaki (Tony Kart Racing Team), all within the Top 10. The final race of the weekend saw Crisan, Scott Marsch (Tony Kart Racing Team), Bruno Gryc (Ward Racing), and Maria Germano Neto (Tony Kart Racing Team) in participation.

In the championship, Vortex secured a total of 2 victories, 16 podiums, and 3 fastest laps in the qualifying heats, along with 3 Top 3 finishes in the prefinals.
