Three European FIA KARTING titles to be decided in Italy

The second and final round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters will take place in the heart of southern Italy, at the Kartodromo Val Vibrata, from 29th August to 1st September 2024.

The European final for gearbox karts will take place on very different terrain to the first event. Val Vibrata is a classic 1,286m track with three tight hairpins, regularly used by the ACI Karting Italian Championship.

Held over two events, the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters promises maximum intensity with no room for error. The Val Vibrata event will be extremely important in the fight for the titles, with twists and turns right to the end. On a track very different to Alcaniz, performances could well change in favour of other drivers in Italy.

The tyres used in all three categories are CIK-FIA-homologated Dunlop DH H 'Option' slick tyres and KT14 W15 'Rain' tyres. With 163 drivers taking part in the Val Vibrata event, representing 30 nations, the latest records have been broken.

Three-way battle expected in KZ

In addition to Stan Pex (NLD) and Travisanutto, Giuseppe Palomba (ITA) and Tom Leuillet (FRA) are close enough on points to play a role in the title race.
