The WSK drivers in the FIA Karting World ranking

The new International Karting Ranking of FIA Karting with all the points acquired last year in international competitions follows a model similar to tennis’ ATP. WSK drivers on top.

An interesting initiative has recently been established by the FIA World Council regarding the creation of a global ranking dedicated to all drivers participating in an international karting event in 2023. The ranking is called the "International Karting Ranking" and includes a computerized ranking system open to all drivers, similar to the ATP tennis ranking model, which will provide an overview of a driver's performance and, at the end of the season, the honorary title of "Driver of the Year".

The International Karting Ranking, updated with points automatically calculated using a logarithmic rule, becomes an important indicator in a driver's season, and beyond their intrinsic performance in an event, it allows analysis of their evolution and consistency throughout their racing season, highlighting drivers who achieve results in the most important karting events on the CIK-FIA international calendar.

The WSK drivers are already on top of the IKR.
The events of the WSK series are included among the considered international karting competitions. Therefore, the first races of the 2023 WSK Champions Cup and the WSK Super Master Series, already have a ranking associated. At the top of the standings, which currently includes over 470 drivers, are the leading protagonists of the WSK races.

Here is provisional the top ten IKR, which is dominated by WSK drivers:
