The Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy prepares for the next exciting event at Le Mans

Building on the undeniable success of the first edition, BRP-Rotax and 3MK Events continue their collaboration, in partnership with the ACO, to organise the 2020 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy from Tuesday, July 28 to Saturday, August 1 at the Le Mans International Karting circuit in France. This impressive event offers a unique karting experience as well as attractive side events throughout the weekend.

At the extremely successful launch of the RMC International Trophy in 2019, a strong field of 300 drivers from 44 nations and 5 continents came together at the Sarthe region in France. For 2020, more drivers are expected and the organisers are already working flat out to create yet another remarkable event. For this newly-introduced competition, the drivers can join the race team of their choice supplying an approved chassis and a Rotax MAX engine or take part with their own equipment in accordance to the regulations. The special atmosphere and high number of international participants is comparable with the unique Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, the annual highlight of the karting season.

Six categories for drivers from eight to over 30 years old

The Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy includes the Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, MAX DD2 and MAX DD2 Masters categories in accordance with the Rotax MAX Challenge format. Building on last year's very impressive overall performance, the newly CIK-homologated regulation MOJO Racing Tyres will be used for this event.

An unparalleled atmosphere

It was an excellent choice by BRP-Rotax and 3MK Events to select this fantastic location to host this exciting and successful event. Le Mans is well known worldwide as the city of racing and the place where legends are born, which therefore creates a truly inspiring ambience. This and the effort of the organisers plus the magnificent circuit, results in a remarkable event for everyone, not only for the winners. A key element in the reputation of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy, the excellent atmosphere of the event, will once again be a high priority. It should ultimately remain a most memorable experience for everybody. This is one of the key objectives of the Rotax by 3MK Events philosophy.

Exceptional prizes which are unique in karting.

The success of the launch event in 2019 was strengthened by the opportunity for all participants to compete fairly for the podium within the Rotax concept of equality, running their own choice of chassis brand, the spectacular and technical circuit, as well as the attractive prizes up for grabs for the winners and all the other competitors.

In 2020, the class winners of the Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2 and DD2 Masters will be awarded with an invitational ticket for the 21st edition of the RMC Grand Finals in Bahrain, while all drivers have the chance to win a Can-Am Ryker which will be raffled.  The winners of the Micro and Mini MAX categories will take home a Can-Am Quad 90 special kid’s quad. All second-placed drivers will receive a Rotax MAX engine in their class and those finishing third win a 1.000,- EUR voucher for Rotax spare parts.

Coveted places

In addition to the places reserved by BRP-Rotax distributors worldwide (these tickets can be won in their national championships). Online registration for these extra places opens on the new RMCIT website from 14:00 (CET) on March 16, 2020, on the new RMCIT website. There’s no doubt at all that the entries will be snapped up quickly, as they were last year! Stay tuned for more details and we cannot wait to see you at Le Mans from July 28 to August 1, 2020, for the second edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy!
