Bas Kaligis / Thursday, April 18, 2024 / Categories: International The Kalì Kart Racing Team at the 1st round of the Italian Championship The official Kalì Kart Team will take part in an evocative race in Sicily on the Triscina track this weekend. In fact, Calogero Vanaria, founder of Kalì Kart, came from Sicily and this event is also a special occasion to remember him. There will be 3 Kalì Kart drivers competing in this important national event which will see over 230 entries: Simone Bianco in the KZ2 category, Ben Piscopo in the MINI one and Cristian Blandino in the OKN Junior class, where he will make his debut after a long stint in Mini. The program of the event includes Qualifying Practices on Friday, the Eliminatory Heats on Saturday and the usual appointment with Race 1 in the morning and Race 2 in the afternoon on Sunday. The format was confirmed with the reversal of the grid for the top 8 in Race 1 and also the important media support guaranteed by the Federation for the Championship, with live TV coverage of both Finals on the ACI Sport channel. The 2024 Italian Championship will be made of 5 events and after the opening race in Sicily, the next ones are scheduled in La Conca, Val Vibrata, Sarno and Lonato.
