The Andrea Margutti Trophy ready for its 30th Edition on April 4-7th in Lonato

Only a few days are left to enter the 30th Andrea Margutti Trophy, race to take place in Lonato from April 4th to 7th 2019 for categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior, 60 Mini, IAME X30 Senior and KFA. A good presence is building for the 30th edition of the Andrea Margutti Trophy, the International race organized by Parma Motorsport that is part of the FIA Karting calendar and that will take place next 4-7 April at the South Garda Karting circuit.

The event is close to celebrating the important anniversary of the 30th edition in memory of the Young karting talent Andrea Margutti, who passed away early in 1989. The race will be open to categories KZ2, OK, OK-Junior, 60 Mini, IAME X30 Senior and also for the historic KFA karts of the 90s. A maximum number of 54 drivers will be accepted in KZ2, 34 in OK, 54 in OK-Junior, 72 in 60 Mini, 54 in X30 Senior and 34 in KFA. Entry lists will close on Tuesday, March 26th. Applications should be filed online at www.trofeomargutti.com. Among the currently entered teams, the provisional list features the presence of Taglienti Group who will bring back on track the multiple World Champion Davide Forè in KZ2, team CPB Sport with the quick Emilien Denner on Sodikart and a lot of other drivers competing for BRM, CRG, Solgat, Manetti Motorsport, Mach1, Ward Racing, CKR, Renda, BirelArt Racing KSW, RS Competition, KSB, Team Driver, Pacitto, Koski Motorsport, HK Motorsport, TBKart, Maranello Kart, Formula K, Autoeuropeo, Gamoto, Baby Race, Dep Competition, Modena Kart, Sport & Comunicazione, Emilia Kart, while others still have to join. The presence of historic karts will be quite important too. The soul and organizer of the KFA Series Luca Corberi will be present alongside the main protagonists of this category.

The provisional program of the 30th Andrea Margutti Trophy:

Thursday, April 4th: Free practice from 8.30 to 17.30 (local time); Sporting scrutineering from 13.00 to 17.30.

Friday, April 5th: Sporting scrutineering (X30 Senior) from 8.00 to 8.30; transponder collection from 8.00 to 10.00; free practice with transponder from 8.30 to 13.00; Technical scrutineering from 9.00 to 13.30; Tyres allocation from 9.00 to 13.30; Briefing from 11.00 to 13.00; Free practice from 13.00 to 15.00; Qualifying practice from 15.15 to 17.30.

Saturday, April 6th: Warm-up from 8.30 to 10.30; heats from 10.45 to 18.00.

Sunday, April 7th: Warm-up from 8.30 to 10.30; Second chance races at 10.40; Prefinals at 11.40; Finals at 14.30; Prize ceremony at 17.40.
