Bas Kaligis / Tuesday, June 16, 2020 / Categories: Rotax The 2020 RMCIT is postponed in Portimão, from 8th to 13th December Further to the worldwide travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus, BRP-Rotax and 3MK Events have carefully taken the decision to postpone the 2nd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy, which would have taken place from Tuesday 28th July to Saturday 01st August 2020 at Le Mans Karting International track, in France. In order to allow every drivers, teams and Rotax Distributors from all over the world to be part of the 2nd edition, the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy will take place exceptionally this year in Portimão, Portugal, from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 13th December 2020. This will also allow us to organise the 2020 RMCIT while ensuring the health and safety of each person which is the most important for BRP-Rotax and 3MK Events. This new date will be the last chance of the season to win a 2020 RMC Grand Finals ticket. 4 tickets will be awarded for the winners of the Junior MAX, Senior MAX, MAX DD2 and MAX DD2 Masters classes. The Micro & Mini MAX winners will receive a CAN-AM DS 90 quad. The initial registrations are automatically retained for this new RMCIT date and location. Each driver already registered at the RMCIT will be contacted personally in the next few days.
