Tatuus launches F4 and F3 Regional virtual races among professional drivers of yesterday and today

In this unprecedented period of forced stop due to Covid-19, and waiting to resume competitions on circuit as soon as possible with the restart of the 2020 season, Tatuus has wanted to keep passion high with an event, the EWSK Formula Super Masters, approved by ACI Sport and ACI Esport, which will see professional drivers of yesterday and today compete with F4 and Formula Regional cars, but this time in the virtual world.

The esport project is carried out on the technical front by the specialized company World Pro Racing, and will allow exciting challenges among professional drivers who have registered on the www.worldproracing.com website in the section events, and have been selected by the organization. Tatuus will see its Formula 4 T-014 and Formula Regional T-318 cars engaged, albeit in a virtual way.

The tests will take place on the Adria International Raceway from 15 to 18 May, the last date of registration for the event. Livetiming will be provided. In the 4 days the registered drivers will be able to test themselves through "hot laps", which will see them run on the Adria track with standard conditions and new tires at each lap for all participants. At the end of the 4 days, the drivers will be chosen for the qualifying races which will take place on May 19th, always on the Adria circuit, and which will see the drivers divided into groups. The first 12 drivers of each qualifying race will go directly to the finals on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari circuit of Imola. The excluded drivers will still be able to participate in the "hot laps" on the Imola circuit on the morning of May 23 and the best 20 drivers will compete in the repechage race from which the first 6 drivers will participate in the finals on the afternoon of May 23.

Then the grand finale on May 23 starting at 19.10 with the first qualifying session and then the two 25-minute races which will be broadcast live from 19:30 CET complete with commentary in English by the commentator on WSK YouTube channels and ACI Sport Italian F4 Championship and Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA Facebook pages.

The project has been approved by the ACI Esport commission, dedicated to carrying out and promoting initiatives to support and develop this new, alternative and increasingly advanced way of experiencing motor racing.
