Danilo Albanese put up a tough fight in July in Spain to claim 2nd place with the fastest lap of the race in his high-performance KR-IAME. Motivated by the idea of retaining his FIA Karting European KZ Championship crown when he arrived at the Val Vibrata circuit for the finale of this highly-anticipated event, the Italian driver immediately demonstrated his competitiveness by taking pole position. Unfortunately, his title hopes were dashed at the first corner of the first heat! However, the team's overall result in Abruzzo means that KR Motorsport remains in contention for the team title in 2024.

In Italy, the final of the FIA European Karting Championships in the KZ, KZ2 and KZ2 Masters categories ended with a real plebiscite for Sodi chassis, the official team and the teams representing the French brand. Second in the KZ2 final ahead of team-mate Kasper Schormans, Matteo Spirgel is the new European KZ2 Champion. Senna Van Walstijn, who impressed throughout the weekend at the wheel of his Sodi-TM, finished runner-up in the European KZ Championship. A penalty cost Anthony Abbasse the title, runner-up in the European KZ2 Masters Championship. As for the teams, Sodikart leads the KZ Championship and 3rd in KZ2 Masters, while CPB Sport is leader in KZ2.

The final stages of the second and last round of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - KZ, KZ2 & KZ2 Masters were the scene of some exciting racing with its share of surprises. David Trefilov (DEU) won the KZ Final, while Lorenzo Travisanutto (ITA) was crowned champion, Maksim Orlov took victory in KZ2 ahead of new champion Matteo Spirgel (FRA), while Riccardo Nalon (ITA) won the KZ2 Masters title.
