The ROK Cup Festival closes the 2022 single-brand season by Vortex with a more than positive drivers’ response: a total of 137 at the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (Italy), in a two-day competition, featured by the rainy weather, which further raised the bar of the challenge. The finals crowned: Pietro Bagutti (Mini ROK), Tiziano Kuzhnini (Junior ROK), Riccardo Cirelli (Senior ROK), Davide Gherardi (Expert ROK), Sergio Koch (Super ROK) and Marco Vannini (Shifter ROK).

The Winter Trophy, an absolute novelty in the ROK Cup race calendar, opens the 2022 season of the single-brand by Vortex. The drivers' attendance was excellent, coming from all over Europe, for a total of 131 participants. The trophy was held at the South Garda Karting of Lonato, with the activities on the track divided in two days and featured by ideal weather conditions, which framed the crowning of the first champions of the season: Martina Rumlenova (Mini ROK), Beszterda Iwo (Junior ROK), David Locatelli (Senior ROK), Tino Donadei (Expert ROK), Riccardo Ianniello (Super ROK), Mattia Vita (Shifter ROK).

Sweden is set to host one of the two world events of the FIA Karting season at the Kristianstad circuit for the third time. Just like five years ago, the FIA Karting World Championship - KZ, the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 and the final FIA Karting Academy Trophy competition will be held on the 1221m Åsum Ring from 3rd to 5th September 2021.

Spectacular heats in Sweden

The second day of the FIA Karting event in Kristianstad was a high quality sporting spectacle throughout the 18 Qualifying Heats which came one after the other. There was no shortage of drama and the Qualifying hierarchy was largely changed by the intensity of the races. The three polemen were notably dethroned.
