CRG gets back on top of the world of international karting and does it in the most beautiful and clear way ever, winning both the most important titles in the shifter categories: the FIA​​ Karting World Championship KZ and the FIA Karting World Cup KZ2. A perfect weekend for the CRG drivers at Le Mans in France, where the two most important titles were awarded in a single round.

The 2022 edition of the FIA ​​European Championship KZ & KZ2 is about to start in Belgium, where the first round of the season is scheduled at the Genk circuit for this weekend. According to the schedule there will be 2 races for this Championship with the 2nd and final appointment that will take place in Italy at the new Cremona track in June. The KZ2 title, where 94 drivers will race against each other, as well as the KZ top class one, with 33 registered drivers, are up for grabs.

Kart CRG: More than 300 drivers at the WSK Master next weekend

From 9th to 13th February the Lonato track will host the 2nd round of the WSK Master, which will be attended by around 350 drivers in the 4 international Mini, OK Junior, OK Senior and KZ categories. This large turnout is a positive sign and rewards the choice of the main teams and constructors involved in international karting, to jointly select the races to take part in, on the sidelines of the FIA ​​Karting events. In this way the commitments of the teams will be more manageable and the show on the track always at a high level.

CRG’s ambitions for the FIA World Championship KZ and KZ2

The most important event of the season it’s finally here: the FIA ​​World Championship for the KZ and KZ2 classes will take place in Sweden on the Kristianstad track from the 2nd to the 5th of September. 28 top drivers will fight against each other in KZ and in this category the CRG Factory Team will line up 3 drivers with great ambitions: Jeremy Iglesias, Alex Irlando and Paolo Ippolito. Unfortunately Jaime Alguersuari had to forfeit due to the persistent pain in his ribs. The Spanish driver is expected to come back racing around the end of the season.

The FIA European Championship KZ & KZ2 ends in Adria

From the 12th to the 15th of August the KZ and KZ2 classes will compete in the 2nd and final round of the European Championship on the Adria racetrack, in Italy. After the first positive race for both categories in Wackersdorf, the CRG drivers are ready to fight for the two titles, in a weekend which is announced to be filled with interesting features.
