Birel ART reveals its potential in OK and Junior at Trinec

On the new Trinec circuit in the Czech Republic, the Birel ART / TM Kart showed remarkable competitiveness in a variety of conditions. The second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series saw Matheus Morgatto’s return to form, who finished 9th in the OK Final, while Noah Wolfe of the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team put in a string of good performances in the OK-Junior class and finished 2nd in the Final.

In Cremona, Birel ART lived up to its reputation by winning the WSK Super Master Series KZ2 Championship thanks to Cristian Bertuca. Matteo ViganĂ², the driver from the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team, won the Final, Bertuca accompanied him on the third step of the podium, five Birel ART / TM finished in the top 10 and Freddie Slater, holder of the pole position, followed in 11th place. To top it all off, the FIA International Karting Ranking places three Birel ART Racing drivers in the top three positions in KZ2 - Bertuca, Vasile and Slater.

With more than a quarter of the field, Birel ART was the best represented chassis brand in Spain for the opening of the FIA Karting European Championships - KZ & KZ2. Although the standard of competition in these gearbox categories is constantly increasing, Birel ART's expertise enables the red chassis to perform at the front. In KZ, Matteo Vigano was back on the second step of the podium in the colours of the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team, while Riccardo Longhi regained 10 places to finish 6th in the Final.

After two very convincing days of testing on Thursday and Friday for Birel ART, the rain arrived and overshadowed the Timed Qualifying. In the World Championship, the Italian team's drivers were unable to match their performance levels and had to fight their way back up the field during the Qualifying phase. The 42 positions gained by Harley Keeble in OK and the 66 places gained by Kirill Kutskov in OK-Junior allowed Birel ART to finish this difficult World Championship at the foot of Vesuvius in style, with excellent lap times!

The Birel ART factory continues to write karting history in golden letters. In Cremona, the Italian chassis took the top three places in the KZ2 Final thanks to Tom Leuillet, Cristian Bertuca and Alessio Piccini. Already a winner in Genk, the Frenchman, therefore, brings a deserved title to the Birel ART and TM Racing brands, as well as to the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team. In KZ, Birel ART was also delighted with another podium for Matteo Vigano, who became the 2022 European Vice-Champion.
