Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) is pleased to announce that Rafael Villagómez will continue with the team for the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season, marking his second campaign in the Championship. The Mexican driver will race alongside John Bennett, finalizing VAR’s line-up for the season.

Teenage racing sensation Louis Sharp has made motor racing history and further endorsed his credentials as one of the sport’s most hottest prospects by winning this year’s GB3 Championship, the UK’s leading single-seater series.

Rodin Motorsport’s Louis Sharp has been crowned as the 2024 GB3 Champion at Brands Hatch, following a win and a 10th place in the final two races of the season.

Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell enjoyed his best day of the season, as he claimed pole position on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit with a record-breaking lap time and then a commanding victory. As he converted pole into a dominant win, drama in the title race meant that John Bennett and Tymek Kucharczyk gained ground on Louis Sharp, to ensure the fight goes all the way to the final day. 

Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell and Rodin Motorsport’s Arthur Rogeon claimed victories on Sunday at Silverstone, as the championship fight tightened up further.
