Sodikart strengthens its involvement in competition

As part of its long-term presence in international competition, the Sodikart group is giving its Racing Team a new impetus through a refreshed structure, new investments and expanded technical and human resources. For the French company, the aim is to open up new prospects in competition and to bring the benefits of this new dynamic to its Racing range.

Sodi Racing Team's brilliant season continues! In the OK-Junior World Championship, several drivers equipped with the very competitive Sodi-TM Racing package fought at the front. In the Final, the honours went to the young Hungarian Adam Hideg, who crossed the finish line in 2nd place. British driver Nathan Tye came close to placing a second Sodi chassis on the podium!

Sodi Racing Team: Good start with 2nd place for Renaudin in the WSK Champions Cup

Postponed by a few weeks for safety reasons, the WSK Champions Cup has just launched the international season on the Italian circuit of Adria with more than 335 participants from 51 countries. Adrien Renaudin of the Sodi Racing Team never left the top three in the KZ2 category before finishing in 2nd position. Five of the eight CPB Sport drivers qualified for the Final and Arthur Carbonnel reached 8th place. Meanwhile, under the responsibility of Jean-Philippe Guignet, the youngsters experienced a baptism of fire in the official Sodikart structure, with the chance to benefit from the advice of Bas Lammers.

Frenchman Arthur Dorison and the two British drivers, Cathal Clark and Nathan Tye Jnr, will make their international debut in OK-Junior this year in the colours of Sodikart. In close collaboration with Sodi Racing Team manager Julien Dexmier, Jean-Philippe Guignet's objective is above all to continue to develop the Sodi / TM Racing teams in Junior as well as to train promising young drivers during a full programme.

After a highly successful 2019 season – whose highlights included Emilien Denner’s victory at the FIA Karting International Super Cup, Bas Lammers winning the WSK Super Master Series championship, Anthony Abbasse’s victory in the Winter Cup and victory in Le Mans 24-hour race, Sodikart has opted to bolster its international ambitions and raise its profile on the world karting competition stage.
