The ROK Cup Italy continues its seasonal journey with the second round held at the 7 Laghi Kart in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV). Almost 200 are the attendants in the seven categories competing, in a weekend featured by good weather. At the end of Sunday, we have the following championship leaders: Almekdad Ghazi (Mini ROK U10), Bissa Patrick (Mini ROK), Cichoracki Tomasz (Junior ROK), Giudice Andrea (Senior ROK), Sorbello Andrea (Expert ROK), Ferrari Riccardo (Super ROK) and Pasiewicz Karol (Shifter ROK).

The FIA Karting World Championship - OK and OK-Junior took place this year in Italy, at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno. The weather conditions alternated between a dry and wet track at the beginning of the meeting before concluding in sunny conditions. The competition proved to be very demanding for the machines and for the drivers, especially with regard to the new track surface.

With so many participants, so much at stake in the four competing categories and so many races leading up to the Finals, the 2022 FIA Karting event in Le Mans will be remembered as a pure moment of karting, full of individual exploits and team performances, offering a flamboyant spectacle during three intense days. A Swede, Viktor Gustafsson, was crowned FIA Karting World Champion - KZ and three Frenchmen were rewarded: Arthur Carbonnel, winner of the FIA Karting World Cup - KZ2, Thomas Letailleur, winner of the first FIA Karting Masters International Super Cup - KZ2 and Arthur Dorison, winner of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy.

Epic battles in the Le Mans qualifying heats

The changing skies at Le Mans contributed to several unexpected developments in the Qualifying Heats of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting event currently taking place in the Sarthe region of France. A succession of brief showers on Saturday morning did not help all of the competitors. However, the verdict is in. Simo Puhakka (FIN) took the lead in KZ. Arthur Carbonnel (FRA) took the top position in KZ2. Jeroen Bos (NLD) remained the leader of the KZ2 Masters, while Mark Dubnitski (EST) took the lead in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy at the last moment.

Exciting qualifying kicks off the FIA Karting World event in France

On Friday, 2nd September 273 of the 290 entrants took part in the Qualifying Practice for the four categories in competition on the 1384m International Karting Circuit of Le Mans (FRA). Rain made it difficult for the drivers in the early afternoon. Four drivers took pole position: Noah Milell (SWE) in KZ, David Trefilov (DEU) in KZ2, Jeroen Bos (NLD) in KZ2 Masters and Arthur Dorison in Academy.
