The Kartfestival on June 6th attracted dozens of karters to SHW's kart track in Strijen. The competition was held in classes ID Rocky, ID Engines Junior, ID Engines Senior and ID Engines Shifter. The new shifter class had its debut in competition and that was very impressive. This video shows you the highlights of this spectacular karting day.

Indy Dontje, the ID in ID Engines, tells you more about the development of ID Engines. This year de Dutch brand added two more classes to the Dutch Karting Championships: ID Engines Senior and ID Engines Shifter. Now ID Engines is planning to go abroad.

Klettwitz: Saturday's ADAC GT Masters race at the Lausitzring was suspenseful right up to the last few metres. The Audi pairing of Max Hofer (21, AUT) and Christopher Haase (33, GER, both Montaplast by Land Motorsport) won by a margin of only 0.147 seconds ahead of Indy Dontje (27, NL) and Maximilian Götz (34, GER) in the Mercedes-AMG of Mann-Filter-Team HTP-Winward. Robert Renauer (35, GER, Precote Herberth Motorsport), partnered this time by Klaus Bachler (29, AUT), kept his title hopes alive with a P3 finish.

In 2021 ID Engines introduces two new karting engines: The ID Engines Senior and The ID Engines Shifter. Owner Arthur Dontje describes the Shifter Engine as a true monster. 41 hp and 127 km/h maximum speed. Test driver Ricardo Romkema gives a demonstration at Circuit Park Berghem.

The new kart project Rookie 4 Shift and ID Engines from Arthur, Indy and Milan Dontje are doing well! Recently a collective test was held on the go-kart track in The Netherlands and at the Italian kartingtrack of Adria the world premiere of ID Engines, (named after Indy Dontje) took place during the international kart fair in Adria.
