The temperature rose a few more degrees at Sarno on Sunday as the Finals of the FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2 supported by Mondokart.com got underway. Gradually set up during the Super Heats, the scenario unfolded without a hitch until the end of the Finals with Gustafsson (SWE) winning and Albanese (ITA) crowned in KZ, while Slater (GBR) took victory and the title in KZ2.

The FIA Karting European Championship - KZ & KZ2 is preparing to crown the first champions of the season at its second event from 6th to 9th July 2023 on the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno in Italy. The current version of the Sarno track, which is 1,550m long, remains highly attractive to competitors who are used to epic battles punctuated by twists and turns.

The first selection has been made and will be completed on Sunday morning during the Super Heats. On Saturday evening, the Qualifying Heats delivered their verdict with Danilo Albanese (ITA) still leading in KZ and Cristian Bertuca (ITA) the new leader in KZ2.
