Two race victories for Nikita Bedrin have propelled the PHM AIX Racing driver firmly into the championship hunt, in which Mumbai Falcons Racing’s Freddie Slater continues to narrowly lead. After a superb weekend that also included two pole positions, Bedrin is one of four drivers at the top of the table covered by 22 points – 25 are on offer for a race win – with two events comprising six races still to come.

Freddie Slater and Keanu Al Azhari were the stars of the second round of the Formula 4 UAE Championship Certified by FIA (F4 UAE) at the Yas Marina Circuit. While Al Azhari secured two wins on the full 5.281km Grand Prix layout, it was Slater who romped to victory in the opener and took the biggest points haul across the three races to extend his championship lead.

Championship to Debut Single Seater Racing in new track in Kuwait

The Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC) will make history as the first single-seater series to race at the new 5.609km Kuwait Motor Town (KMT) this week. Alongside the F4 UAE Championship, the two series will debut open-wheel competition at the impressive, multi-discipline USD162 million motorsport facility with a combined grid just shy of 70 cars.
