Kart Republic: Further success for the KR chassis in Sarno

Two weeks after a highly successful event at La Conca, the WSK Super Master Series continued at Sarno, one of the circuits that will host a round of the FIA European Karting Championship. The KR-IAME packages maintained a very high level of performance, while enabling the teams working with the Kart Republic factory to gather valuable information on this difficult track. The triple success of the KR chassis in OK-Junior was one of the highlights of the trip to the Neapolitan region.

The Mondokart.com - FIA Karting World Championship - OK & Junior got underway late on Friday morning with Qualifying Practice. The large number of participants, 105 in OK and 119 in OK-Junior, meant that five heats were needed for each category. The two British polemen Joe Turney and Noah Baglin set very fast times and distanced themselves clearly from their rivals. The competition was tighter between the other drivers. Harrison Whitticombe later took pole position for the FIA Karting World Cup - OK-N.

After the heats, the lead is held by Van Walstijn (KZ2), Forè (KZ2 Masters), Perico (MINI U10), Pilipenco (MINI Gr.3), Manni (OKNJ) and Marchesi (OKN). The final stages with Live Streaming coverage will be on Sunday, April 7th.
