The qualifying practice has been completed with the pole positions going to Trefilov (KZ2), Pavan (OK), Calleja (OKJ), Frigerio (MINI Gr.3 U10), Lazaro (MINI Gr.3), Kumpen (OKNJ) and Tonalini (OKN).

As the 2024 IAME Euro Series reached its climax, the final round at Karting Genk in Belgium delivered unforgettable racing moments and high drama. Known as the “Home of Champions,” this iconic circuit hosted a weekend of intense battles among the series’ top drivers. The scattered clouds added to the challenge, making every lap crucial in the fight for the championship. Despite the unpredictable weather with rain that only slightly materialized on Friday, the drivers showcased exceptional skill and determination as they pushed their limits in the season’s final showdown.

The Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship has crowned Britain's Joe Turney in OK and Belgium's Dries Van Langendonck in Junior with their performances in Sweden confirming their talent. Belgium's Gilles Herman won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy with an excellent display of maturity, while Switzerland's Dan Allemann came back brilliantly to secure 2nd place.

Three FIA Karting titles will be awarded at the event in Kristianstad, Sweden, from 1st to 4th August 2024 as part of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior and the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. The much-loved 1221m Åsum Ring circuit, will host this major event in an ideal setting for spectacular battles. The many international competitions that have taken place at Kristianstad over the last few years bode well for a top-quality event in the heart of Skåne, close to Denmark.

After 15 qualifying heats in each of the two categories of the Mondokart.com FIA Karting European Championship OK & Junior, Thibaut Ramaekers (BEL) was leading the OK intermediate classification, while Christian Costoya (ESP) took the lead in the OK-Junior category. Dan Allemann (CHE) maintained his lead with two wins in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, with two heats still to be contested on Sunday morning.
