CRG wins the 2024 OK World Championship

The CRG Racing Team and Ethan Jeff-Hall are the 2024 World Champions of the OK category, the top direct drive class. The event, the most prestigious and important of the international season, was held in England at the PF International Circuit from September 12th to 15th. This circuit has always been a battlefield for English drivers and this year too was no exception, with an all-English podium in OK and an English winner in Junior. For the CRG colours, this prestigious success enriches our wall of fame in FIA events, bringing the world titles won to 25.

England will be the center of world karting for 15 days, hosting the Champions of the Future on the PF International circuit located north of Nottingham from 5 to 8 September and the following week the FIA ​​World Championship for the OK and OK-Junior categories. This week's race will be a trial run to define the setup and best prepare for the most important one of the year. This weekend the CRG Racing Team will be taking part in the Champions of the Future with 15 drivers divided into the two categories.

After being among the protagonists of the Euro OK with Gabriel Gomez's 2nd place in the Championship, CRG colors confirmed themselves at the top in the FIA ​​events also in the KZ category with Viktor Gustafsson's 3rd place in the Championship. At the start of the decisive Final, the Swedish driver, who was only 2 points behind the leader of the standings could have won the title, but such tight races do not allow for mistakes and, unfortunately, something was missing in the race pace in the Final and the 7th place obtained took away any hope of victory.

The KZ categories confirm themselves in the DNA of CRG, which for years has continued to be one of the most constant brands at the top of international races in the gear classes. Even on the Aragon track in Spain, where the FIA​​European Championship started later than what expected this year, the CRG drivers made a strong impression right from the Free Practice, confirming once again the great versatility of the CRG chassis and the performance of the TM engines.
