The Brazilian driver needed only a fourth-place finish to claim the season crown, with one round still left to race. The Ferrari Driver Academy star becomes the fourth driver to inscribe his name on the series’ roll of honor and the first Brazilian to win the championship organized by ACI Sport and Alpine Racing. Camara’s season includes 6 victories, two second places, and two third-place finishes.

In Barcelona, during the first of the 3 races in the penultimate round of the Italian F.4 Championship, Freddie Slater from Prema Racing claimed his twelfth win of the season, coming within a hair’s breadth of securing the title. With US Racing’s Akshay Bohra stalling on pole at the start, the only driver to keep the fight alive until Sunday was Hiyu Yamakoshi from Van Amersfoort Racing.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, a staple on the Formula 1 calendar, plays host to the penultimate round of the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. As the ninth of ten double-header events, the 4.675 km track will witness another fierce battle in one of Europe’s most competitive single-seater series.
