History was created at Round Three of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship presented by Castrol EDGE as Lana Flack became the first female driver to win an event at a multi-round Australian karting Championship in 26 years.

South Australian local, Leigh Harrison was the taste of the town, becoming the Ultimate Club Racer Champion in two categories.

Sam Dicker has taken his maiden SP Tools Australian Kart Championship victory in the KZ2 class at Hume International Raceway in Victoria on Sunday afternoon, staving off a series of challenges. Dicker became the first West Australian since Jake Klarich in 2015 to win a round of the Championship’s premier class.

Cody Gillis has finally got the monkey off his back taking his maiden SP Tools Australian Kart Championship KZ2 final at Bolivar in South Australia on Sunday afternoon, extending his Championship lead. The lights to flag win coupled as the first for the WP (Will Power) Kart in the category in Australia - a chassis that Gillis has developed with the TWM team in this market.

With 288 drivers across the eight classes, a thrilling weekend of racing drew to a conclusion, intensifying the title chases as the Championship heads to Adelaide’s Bolivar Raceway on the first weekend in May.
