Superkarts! USA announces awards package for Supernationals 27
Nearly $45,000 in prizes to be handed out on SuperSunday in Las Vegas
The Superkarts! USA organization is in the final planning stages for the upcoming SKUSA SuperNationals 27. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will play host to the annual event for a third time in its 27 editions, welcoming drivers from all over the world to Las Vegas, Nevada on November 13-17. The 2024 edition is projected to be one of the largest in event history, featuring multiple classes selling out and overall event total has already surpassed the 500-entry barrier. Among the items still left to be confirmed prior to one of the largest karting events in the world is the release of the awards package for the annual race, which includes over $37,000 in cash and an additional $7,000 in prizes.
Superkarts! USA has put together a cash purse for five of the nine categories at SKUSA SuperNationals 27. Pro Shifter will headline the event once again, competing for a $15,000 purse that includes a $10,000 payday to the winner. A $3,000 victory check, part of a total of $7,000, will be awarded in Pro X30, while KA100 Senior, KA100 Junior and Mini Swift will compete for a purse of $5,250. The winner in those three categories will receive a check for $2,500.

In addition to the cash purses, the KA100 Senior and Master Shifter class winners will be awarded a custom B.R.M Chronographes timepiece. Frederic Gasser of B.R.M has been a longtime partner of Superkarts! USA and supporter of the SuperNationals event, dating back to 2010. Each timepiece is valued at $3,500.
Of the nine categories competing in this year’s SKUSA SuperNationals, four have been expanded to the 88-driver mark. The KA100 Senior and KA100 Junior classes were opened early in the registration process with the Senior division filled up at 88 drivers and nearing the ‘sold out’ status for the Junior category. The Pro Shifter and Pro X30 will be welcoming big fields once again in 2024, with each category expanded to welcome 88-driver fields. Mini Swift and Micro Swift have both been sold out, with waiting lists established for their 44-driver fields as have the KA100 Master and Master Shifter divisions, reaching the entry cap over the weekend. X30 Junior has less than 10 spots remaining for entry, set for another star-studded field and could welcome a 16th different winner in the 16-year history of the category at the SuperNationals.
The nine classes have been split into Morning and Afternoon groups in the tentative event schedule for SKUSA SuperNationals 27, published on the SKUSA website. KA100 Junior, KA100 Senior, Master Shifter, and Micro Swift make up the morning shift of classes while Mini Swift, X30 Junior, KA100 Master, X30 Senior, and Pro Shifter will be featured in the afternoon time slot each day.
