Mitchell Koolen / Thursday, June 4, 2020 / Categories: News, International STATEMENT from the Ministry of Sport of South-Africa On Saturday 30th May 2020, the Honourable Minister Nathi Mthethwa announced details of the Directions for Sport, Arts and Culture under the Disaster Management Act, 2002(Act No. 57 of 2002) to the media and public. The directions which Minister Nathi Mthethwa announced focused primarily onsectoral implications in relation to the Government Level 3 Risk adjustment strategy to be employed in preventing and combating the spread of COVID-19. upon commencement with their various activities inclusive of resumption of training and matches.The Department and Ministry of Sport, Arts and Culture take this opportunity to request continued patience and tolerance as the directions are still to be published in the Government Gazette. Once this process has been undertaken, they will then be officially released to all sectoral stakeholders.
