Sports car aces Valour Racing join GB4 Championship with two-car entry

Leading sports car team Valour Racing has confirmed it will join the GB4 Championship with a two-car entry from this weekend's (28/29 May) Donington Park rounds onwards, as the Northamptonshire squad expands into single-seater competition for the first time.

The team has collected two Tatuus F4-T014 cars from MSV's Bedford Autodrome complex this week, and will confirm the two drivers ahead of this weekend's races.

The Corby-based outfit, operated by Ben Lane and Rhys Terry, has excelled in various categories across the past six years with prominent success in GT and prototype racing, including being crowned as Radical European Masters Champions in 2017.

The team also won the Radical UK Championship in 2020 and enjoyed further success in categories including the GT Cup, with Ginetta, Porsche and Aston Martin machinery.

In addition, the team has been regular winners with Radical SR3s and SR8s, both in the UK and across Europe, and has supported various cars in the USA, Caribbean and Asia.

As well as racing, Valour has operated a successful driver development programme, covering competitors new to the sport as well as those looking to refine their craft, introducing drivers to the sport through trackday tuition and corporate events.

Valour Racing’s Team Manager Rhys Terry said: “We are thrilled to be taking the step into single-seaters as a team. Having been involved in various open-wheel categories over the years I’m looking forward to making the jump into the ever-growing championship!”
