Spanish Formula 4 moves to Valencia
The Ricardo Tormo circuit will host the fifth round of the championship, where the Dutch MP Motorsport driver, Dilano Van’t Hoff, could be mathematically champion.
Once the summer break is over and after Pepe Martí’s double at Motorland, the engines will roar again in Valencia this weekend. The entry list will be made up of 25 with two new drivers. India’s Anshul Gandhi with GRS and Miron Pingasov in MP Motorsport will make their debut in the category this weekend category.
A fifth event of the championship in which Dilano Van’t Hoff will have his first chance to become champion of the category. With almost twice as many points as his nearest challenger in the standings the Dutch MP Motorsport driver will be mathematically champion if he can extend his lead of 113 points to the 144 needed to leave his closest challengers with no chance of winning the championship going into the final two rounds. In the same way, the Dutchman will also have a chance to win the Rookies’ Championship title if he gets the same conditions.
MP Motorsport, on the other hand, still has to wait. The Dutch team, which has a 119 points ahead of Campos Racing, has seen its lead reduced in the last few races due to the good form the last few races due to the good form of the Spanish team. With four wins in the last six races, Campos Racing has been the team with the highest points tally in the last two events, which has allowed them to regain the second position in the championship to the detriment of Fórmula de Campeones.
