Bas Kaligis / Thursday, March 26, 2020 / Categories: IAME, International Remo Racing Iame X30: IAME Series Australia cancelled for 2020 With the situation changing rapidly with the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic & with State Government laws about closing borders and not allowing interstate competitors to compete, we have had to cancel the IAME Series Australia planned this year. As you may know, there have been cancellations or postponements of race events in Victoria which include the first 3 race events (Victorian Country Series R2, Victorian Kart Championship & Metro Series R2) & the uncertainty of when or if these race events will be run in the future, so at this time, we have sadly come to the decision to cancel the IAME Series for 2020. However, if the currently postponed race events are re-scheduled to proceed at a later date this year, it is still a possibility the X30 Feature class may be offered but it may only be a one-off class event with no accumulation of points or prizes awarded. Remo Racing would like to thank IAME Italy & sponsors who came on board, Kartsport North America, Erebus Academy & RJ Garage doors. Remo Racing & IAME Italy would like to say thank you to the clubs from Cobden, Oakleigh, Geelong, Todd Rd & Puckapunyal for giving us the opportunity to hold these X30 events & most importantly to the X30 drivers who were very much looking forward to competing, we’ll be back. Stay safe everyone.
