With sunny weather and a dry track, it was Rafael Camara (Prema Racing) who set the fastest time of the session, clocking in at a remarkable 1’30”985. The current series leader and Ferrari Driver Academy representative was 0.253 seconds ahead of his teammate James Wharton and Williams Academy’s Alessandro Giusti (ART Grand Prix), who finished second and third, respectively. Tuukka Taponen (R-ace GP) completed the session with the fourth fastest time, despite causing the only red flag by stopping at the exit of the second corner. Right behind the Finnish driver was Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix), who was the fastest among the rookies. Brando Badoer (Van Amersfoort Racing) performed well, finishing sixth ahead of Enzo Peugeot (Sainteloc Racing) and Nikita Bedrin (MP Motorsport). Rounding out the top 10 were Ivan Domingues (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Zachary David (R-ace GP). All eyes are now on the next session, scheduled for this afternoon at 3:00 PM.
