Pro Kart becomes LeCont importer

Raceland gets new name: "Pro Kart powered by LeCont"

The Italian tyre manufacturer LeCont has been one of the suppliers for international events such as the FIA Kart World and European Championships for several years. In Germany, Pro Kart in Wackersdorf takes over the import and is now building up a nationwide distribution network.

"With our racetrack, we have been part of the international racing calendar for many years and are looking forward to hosting the Shifter Kart World Championship again this year. So, it was not far-fetched for us to expand in the kart shop sector as well. It's great to be the importer for LeCont in Germany," explains owner Stephan Fritsch.

LeCont has proven its potential as an international equipment supplier and convinces with good performance and long durability. The agreement with the tyre manufacturer also gives the race track a new name. In future, the outdoor track will be called Pro Kart powered by LeCont.

Fritsch now wants to establish a nationwide distribution network and is looking for interested dealers throughout Germany. To ensure high availability and fast delivery times, he is setting up an extensive warehouse in Wackersdorf. The LeCont tyre will also be used at this year's Shifter Kart World Championship in September in Wackersdorf and at the "Road to Wackersdorf" which takes place at the end of July. The event is considered an exclusive preparation race for the World Championship.

"Through our own racing in the past years, we were able to convince ourselves of the performance of the tyre. It is fast and lasts a long time. Our commitment is to work together for a long time. LeCont is planning a LeCont Cup in 2024, which, in addition to events in Italy, will also take place in two other countries," continues Fritsch.
