Bas Kaligis / Wednesday, April 25, 2018 / Categories: CIKFIA Positive vibes for Baby Race in European Championship in Sarno The European Championship round held last weekend at Sarno gave positive vibes to the Baby Race operation, lining-up with Parolin chassis and TM engines. The Brescia-based squad presented itself on-track with three drivers: Alexey Brizhan in the OK category, Nikita Bedrin and Boya Mari in OK Junior. Brizhan, who is still at his first races in the challenging OK category, distinguished himself in the heats to take 47th place out of 80 participants in the final balance of the eliminatory rounds. Unfortunately, he was left out of the Final which featured the top 34 drivers, but Alexey is improving his performance by the day. The same goes Bedrin, who is in his first year in OKJ, and is slowly but steadily finding the right pace. He showed it in the heats after which he was seventh. In the race, due to a penalty and some mistakes, he finished 26th. Spaniard Mari Boya also experienced a positive weekend, but bad luck hit him with engine problems during the heats, which inevitably excluded him from the Final.
