Pole, victories In the heats and third place in the European Championship for Vortex
KZ: At the end of the weekend in Genk, the RSZ and RTZ engines are getting another prestigious result thanks to Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart Racing Team) who gains the third position in the KZ FIA Karting European Championship. This great success achieved by the Finn is not the only one for the OTK Kart Group engine division, equipping also the kart driven by Noah Milell (Tony Kart Racing Team) at the “Home of Champions”. The Swede is actually the author of the best lap, gaining the Pole Position. A position he will exploit to obtain two victories in the heats and a best lap. In Final, Milell closes his weekend in fourth position, very close to the podium.
KZ2: Paavo Tonteri (SC Performance) and Gilles Stadsbader (Tony Kart Racing Team) are the best drivers powered by Vortex in KZ2. The Finn, especially, is certainly one of the protagonists in the Qualifying Heats, where he gains a second and a third position allowing him to start third in the decisive race. With Tonteri, the speed of the Vortex engines is proved by a best lap too, centred in the last heat. Gilles Stadsbader is relying on the performances of our engines to gain a position in top-ten in the final rating.
Unfortunately, the brawl they both get involved in prevent them from repeating their good performances.
FIA KARTING ACADEMY TROPHY: In Genk, we could assist to another amazing battle within the CIK FIA trophy where the young talented drivers can stand out, making the most of the Vortex Junior engines. The American Connor Zilisch is once again the driver getting the better of it in a hard-fought Final, at the end of which also the Englishman Theo Micouris is stepping up onto the podium, after recovering 5 positions, and the Frenchman Maceo Capietto, among the best drivers of the weekend with two victories in the heats.
