Pierre-Louis Chovet leads collective test two at Mugello

Pierre-Louis Chovet set the pace in the last collective test of the season that took place at Mugello. 

The RPM team standard bearer who took his second podium of the season last weekend in Barcelona, this afternoon was 0.059s ahead of his new teammate Santiago Ramos, who showed an excellent feeling with Keith Donegan‘s team car.

Paul Aron was third for Prema Racing, 0.122s clear from Hadrien David (R-ace GP). Dino Beganovic (Prema Racing) who could secure the 2022 title as early as Race 1, was fifth.

German Tim Tramnitz (Trident Motorsport) secured the sixth quickest time, his teammate Leonardo Fornaroli was 0.080s further back and 0.038s clear of ART Grand Prix’s Gabriele Minì, with Arden Motorsport’s Joshua Durksen and the newcomer William Alatalo (KIC Motorsport) completing the top 10. 

The first Italian qualifying session will go green at 09.00am tomorrow ahead of a 14.10pm start for the penultimate race of the season.
