Parolin chassis win OKJ and Mini classes in Sarno WSK SMS race
It has been a very positive weekend for the Parolin chassis. At the WSK Super Master Series race on the Sarno track, brought in to replace the canceled round in Lonato, the manufacturer won in both the 60 and OKJ classes.
Baby Race congratulates Minì and Kucharczyk for these amazing achievements.
On the other hand, the Brescia-based team, which is linked to Parolin, experienced a positive weekend, although they were not confirmed by the results. In fact, in the Mini class, Coskun Irfan emerged and impressed in the heats ending up fourth overall. Unfortunately, a track exit in Pre-final B drove him down to 25th place, which meant no access to the Final. Nothing to do for Rafael Modonese, who was 22nd in Prefinal B. Christian Ho and Federico Scalvini didn’t access the final too from Prefinal A
In the OKJ class, Mari Boya, the new Baby Race driver, was impressive. Ater some good performance in the heats he was tenth in Prefinal B, before taking 14th in the final. Diego Contecha (15th in Prefinal B) had to retire. Ksenia Phoenix could not make her way to the final as Enzo Scionti (by a whisker) and Nikita Bedrin. The Russian was particularly unlucky. Very fast in free practice, he crashed with another driver and lost the chain while hitting the track in qualifying. Bedrin started last in every heat: reaching the Prefinals turned into an impossible task for him.
Alexey Brizhan's debut in the OK category was more than positive. The young Russian delivered great results in a pack of much more experienced racers. Brizhan managed to reach the Final and ended up in 30th place.
