Oliver Goethe signs with Campos Racing for 2024 FIA F3 campaign

Red Bull Junior driver Oliver Goethe will race in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing. Goethe made a spectacular FIA F3 debut with the Spanish outfit in 2022 for two rounds, finishing in the points in his first race with the team and securing a second-row start at Spa-Francorchamps.

For the 2023 season, the German-Danish talent joined Trident Racing, completing a remarkable rookie season in FIA F3. He started his campaign on the podium in Bahrain, claimed his maiden win in the Feature Race at Silverstone and secured pole position in Monza, finishing P8 in the overall classification.

As a result of his impressive performance, Goethe was signed by Red Bull and joined their Junior Academy this November. He entered his first race in Red Bull colours with Campos Racing, competing in the Macau Grand Prix where he delivered a spectacular recovery drive to finish ninth at the iconic race.

For the 2024 season, Goethe returns to Campos Racing in FIA F3, aiming to add more wins to his tally and join the title fight in his Red Bull liveried machine.

Oliver Goethe:

“I am excited to be back with Campos Racing for a full season! They helped to make my entrance to FIA F3 as smooth as possible back in 2022. This year we completed a successful post-season testing programme and the Macau GP together which makes me feel positive about what’s coming next. My goal is to fight for wins and podiums from the start and be consistent. That’s what matters the most in this championship.“

Maria Catarineu, Commercial Director, Bullet Sports Management:

“Ollie had a great 2023 season. The level of competition between Euroformula Open and FIA F3 is huge but he stepped up to the challenge. His rookie season was all about learning and adapting, and now he is ready to step up with Campos Racing. We have a great relationship with Adrian’s team and know he will be in good hands. It will be his first full season as a Red Bull Junior so the stakes are high, But Ollie has all it takes to make it a success.”

Adrián Campos, Team Principal, Campos Racing:

“It’s great to have Ollie joining Campos Racing for 2024. He is a very talented driver, who has shown great potential in the FIA Formula 3. Ollie made his debut in the series with us and he is now much stronger and more experienced as already seen in Macau making an amazing recovery drive in such a difficult urban circuit. Hopefully, we have an exciting, successful campaign ahead together.”
