Noah Degenbol signs-up with MP Motorsport for Spanish F4

Danish karting star Noah Degnbol Møller will team-up with Dutch outfit MP Motorsport for his debut season in car racing this year, having signed to drive in the 2021 Spanish Formula 4 Championship.

The 16-year-old recently had a productive two-day test with the team to underline his intentions ahead of his first season out of karts, and Degnbol will join Suleiman Zanfari, Rik Koen, Gil Molina, Dilano van ’t Hoff and Manuel Espírito Santo in MP Motorsport’s Spanish F4 line-up.

Degnbol will receive support throughout the year from the Danish federation, having been invited to join Team Denmark at the end of 2020. More driver announcements from MP Motorsport will follow in due course.

“I am very happy to join MP Motorsport for my first season in single-seaters”, says Degnbol, “Building on their years of experience and great results, I'm convinced that they will give me the best chance of fighting for the championship. After my first test with the team, I felt confident in the car and immediately felt at home in the team.

"I also got on well with my new team-mates. It’s set to be a hard season, with so many good drivers in the championship, but I will fight to the last lap. I’m really excited and can’t wait to get the season started!”

“I’m really pleased Noah will join us for the 2021 season”, said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport’s team manager, “He has shown tremendous promise in karts, a talent that has translated well into single-seaters, as was proven during his test with us. I’m convinced he will produce a stand-out season for us in Spanish F4.”

Degnbol raced in the OK Junior and OK categories of the German Karting Championship before stepping up to European level, having been voted Danish Karting Talent of the Year in 2018.

His 2019 season in the WSK Open Cup was topped by a sixth place in the finale and a Heat win. He continued to race OK karts in 2020, competing in the CIK-FIA European and World Championships as well as the WSK Super Master Series, and finished the season with sixth place in the World Championship pre-race at Portimão. Before racing internationally, Degnbol won multiple Danish karting titles.
